Something for every rider — from your very first sit in the saddle to confident hacking through the Leicestershire countryside.
Who are lessons suitable for?
Absolutely everyone. We genuinely mean that. You don't need to have ridden before, own any special equipment, or be a particular age or fitness level. Our instructors are experienced at working with all kinds of riders and will always go at your pace.
Types of Lessons
Private Lessons — 30 minutes
One-to-one lessons with a qualified instructor, tailored entirely to your level and goals. Perfect for beginners who want individual attention, or younger and newer riders building confidence.
Private Lessons — 1 hour
A full hour of one-to-one tuition. Ideal for more experienced riders working on specific skills, or anyone who wants more time in the saddle.
Group Lessons — Adults
Ride alongside others in a friendly, sociable group. Groups are kept small so everyone gets personal attention from the instructor.
Group Lessons — Juniors (16 & under)
Fun, friendly group lessons for younger riders. A great way to learn alongside others and build confidence in the saddle.
Beginner / Taster Sessions
Never ridden before? Our taster sessions are the perfect introduction. You'll learn the basics in a safe, supportive environment with no pressure whatsoever. Priced at £35–£40 for riders 16 and over.
Countryside Hacks
Explore the beautiful Leicestershire countryside on horseback. Hacks are available for riders who have reached a suitable level — your instructor will advise when you're ready. See EC Pro for current pricing.
Evening Classes

Walk Out for Beginners
A gentle lead-rein countryside ride — perfect for those who have never ridden before or who want a relaxed, low-pressure introduction to horses.
Pony Club Sessions
Parkview is part of The Pony Club, for riders who are ready to progress. Sessions run fortnightly on a weekday evening. There is currently a waiting list — see below for how to join.
Pony Club at Parkview
Parkview is part of The Pony Club — fortnightly weekday evening sessions for riders who are ready to progress. £30 per session.
To join, a rider should:
- ✓Be a regular rider at Parkview
- ✓Be confident walking, trotting and cantering off the lead rein
- ✓Have their instructor confirm readiness and refer them to Sophie

Holiday & Special Programmes
School Holiday Pony Care Days
£55 per child · Ages 6–14 · 9am–4pm
Full-day sessions during school holidays, usually on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Dates are published a few weeks before each holiday via EC Pro. Suitable for complete beginners through to confident riders.
The day includes riding, stable management and horse care, plus fun games and activities.
- ✓Drop-off by 8:50am; pick-up at 4:00pm
- ✓Bring a packed lunch
- ✓Wear weather-appropriate clothing; boots with a small heel are ideal
- ✓Riding hats provided
- ✓The coffee shop is open for snacks, cakes, milkshakes, ice creams and cold drinks (cash & card)
Walk Out for Beginners
Adults & children, minimum age 3 · £20
A gentle lead-rein countryside ride — perfect for those who have never ridden before or who want a relaxed, low-pressure introduction to horses.
🎂 Children's Birthday Pony Parties
Ages 5–12 · Up to 12 children · Sundays 3–4pm · £25 per child (minimum 7 children)
A magical 1-hour birthday experience at the stables — 30 minutes of pony riding followed by 30 minutes of pony grooming. All abilities welcome.
